The webinar is sponsored by PresenceLearning, the leading provider of live online speech and occupational therapy for K-12 school districts. Our web-based approach to live online speech therapy is highly effective and affordable. We are delivering 120,000 sessions this year that are individualized, curriculum-relevant and evidence-based using our nationwide network of SLPs and OTs.

From this webinar, participants will:

1. Understand how a blended delivery model can enable more efficient use of existing staff and resources.
2.  Discover the benefits of a blended delivery model in easing excessive SLP & OT workloads and addressing the shortage of these professionals.
3.  Get answers to specific, practical questions about how school-based staff can collaborate with online therapists.

    Our Presenters

Peggy Jadack, Director of Pupil Services at Sparta Area School District in Wisconsin and principal of High Point Charter School. Peggy has been deploying online speech therapists from PresenceLearning to enable Sparta's on-the-ground SLPs to put more focus on RtI to help prevent students needing placement in special ed.

Deirdre Shearer has served as the Coordinator of Special Programs at Harrison School District 2 (CO) where she worked with PresenceLearning to improve the effectiveness of a hybrid model involving combining on-the-ground SLP-As and online SLPs. Deirdre is moving into a new position with the Pikes Peak BOCES.

Allison G. Oxford, Ed.S., is Director of Instructional Support Services at the Murray County Schools in Georgia. She has been working with PresenceLearning to fill staffing gaps and improve compliance in her district. She says, “There is no reason that districts should have compensatory summer services with the addition of PresenceLearning online speech therapy. It provides a way to provide speech services throughout the year even when you are short staffed or have therapists out on medical leave.”
